Lighting Design and Immersive Installations
These architectural lighting projects investigate light as a primary medium of interior experience and environmental performance. By integrating circadian principles, material reflectance, and visual adaptation, each design evaluates how luminous conditions influence behavior and perception. Each project considers both daylight and electric light working together to support comfort, clarity, and the character of the architecture, creating balanced illumination that enhances everyday experience.
In contrast, the light installations are artistic explorations. These works investigate light as a healing and perceptual medium, inviting stillness, sensory awareness, and reflection, where participants engage with atmosphere rather than simply occupy a designed space. The light installations are inspired by inquiry into light as a healing medium, one where sense regulation, transcendence and inquiry open up for participants.
